Wooden Battea Bowl
Italian farming families use a battea for curing olives. In my home, this hand-carved battea looks great leaning against the wall and it’s always ready when I need a big serving piece. It’s held enough pasta to feed a crowd of friends and displayed all the squash gathered from the garden. Stained with coffee and finished with beeswax; food safe.
