Deruta Majolica Clock
Deruta is a small town in the Umbria region of Italy known for its world-class ceramics. Its majolica (colorfully decorated ceramic) artistic traditions date back to 800 BC. Many Italian factories follow the ancient techniques of their forebears, but only a select few are allowed to use the “Deruta” name. Flawlessly hand-formed, baked, hand-painted and glazed, this is a true collector piece. The clock runs on one AA battery (not included), with a mounted hook for wall-hanging. Handmade in Italy.
