Until the last century, the hearth was the true heart of every home, where meals were cooked and everybody kept warm. In many Italian homes, it still is. I love hearthside cooking year-round, and these grills make it easy. From one of the best and oldest ironworks in Tuscany, they come in two sizes for small and large fireplaces and/or placement over an outdoor fire pit. Both sizes feature an iron grill, three-level cast-iron frame (for adjustable cooking), and two durable wood handles (for a cool, no-burn grip). Simple, slide-in design. Handmade in Italy.
