Dating back to the 1920s, they were originally used by a theater company for storing opera costumes. Made of solid pine and elm with meticulous detailing: wood-stitched corners, forged-iron handles and clasps, and removable tops. Each wood trunk varies slightly in size and weathering, and some feature additional metal bracing for structural preservation. Imported. Approx. 32–34 x 18–20 x 22–28" h.
