In 1835, British artist Robert Jupe revolutionized the furniture world when he patented his round expansion table. Using spoke-like leaves inserted between pie-shaped pieces, the tables naturally expand without breaking their perfect round shape. True to the original design, our version is handcrafted from solid walnut with walnut veneer piecing on top for kaleidoscopic character. The matching chairs are beautifully finished with sumptuous leather cushions and meticulous tack-work. Tables have ornate baluster legs and crossing base. Imported. Table is 30" h. Chairs, 21 x 26 x 38¾" h.; seat: 19½" h.
